For pongal festival and other few occasions pongal is famous
and this is very easy to prepare as well.
Let’s now see how to prepare sweet pongal.
Pressure cook raw rice, moong dhal with 4 cup of water as mentioned above.

In a vessel put jaggery and pour ¼ cup of water to prepare paagu. Keep this aside to cool down.
In a pan pour ghee. Put cashew nut and dry grapes as shown here.
Filter paagu vellam mentioned in point 2 in pan and put the boiled rice.
Mix it well and sweet pongal is ready!!!

Raw rice/Pacharisi – 1 cup
Moong dhal – ½ cup
Water – 4 cup
jaggery – ½
Cashewnut -10
Dry grapes – 10
